FEBELAUTO

Hal 6 B.18

What happens to a vehicle when it reaches the end of its life? From 29 to 31 March, Febelauto will be present at Autotechnica, on the Mobility Boulevard in Hall 6, together with the other mobility federations. At our stand, you can discover what happens when a vehicle is end of life, because Febelauto is responsible in Belgium for the collection, processing and sustainable recycling of end-of-life vehicles and batteries from electric and hybrid vehicles. What should you definitely see at our stand? A restaurated and electrified Ford Taunus, refurbished by a group of international automotive engineering students from Thomas More High School. A fine example of how craftsmanship, discarded materials and circular solutions come together. A giant open-worked EV battery, where you can see up close how a battery from an electric vehicle is constructed. Discover the importance of safe dismantling and what happens to reusable modules and the recovered valuable raw materials after recycling. Be sure to take part in the Mobility Boulevard Challenge. Test your expertise at our stand and at the stands of our partner federations and be in with a chance of winning lots of great prizes. TBC!!!!!! Don't miss our “Mobility Talks” information sessions on Monday 30 March at 12:00 on retrofitting (electrifying) vehicles and on Tuesday 31 March at 12:30 on batteries for electric vehicles. Febelauto – sustainable driving also means recycling. Mobility Boulevard, Hall 6 stand B.18
