When Herman De Mil and Karel Regge combined their experiences in 1975, Garmat Europe nv came into being. Immediately this was the first Belgian producer and distributor of quality spray booths. The home base was in Kalken. In the 70s and especially in the 80s, Garmat saw the sales market continue to expand. Quality and innovation were the pillars of a close-knit dealer network with solid contacts in Asia, Australia and the USA, where Garmat opened a production plant (Denver, COLORADO). In 1985, Belgian manufacturing settled on the Erpe-Mere industrial zone, where it had a production area of 10,000m². At the beginning of the 21st century, Garmat is one of the top suppliers to the bodywork sector, both in Europe and with its sister company in America. Deliveries to the industry have also increased exponentially in recent years. For more than a quarter of a century, Garmat has been at the forefront of quality and innovation. All over the world, our spray booths and accessories add colour to the production processes of many leading customers.
