At the end of February, Tom Boonen and co-driver Erwin Mombaerts set off on the 2024 Belgian Rally Championship (BRC). A week before the start of the rally season, their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 was already on display at the TECH360 centre in Zonhoven. With the support of PartsPoint, NAPA Racing and PTR (Pieter Tsjoen’s team), Boonen & co are aiming high and are even dreaming of a podium finish.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SPONSORS

NAPA ambassador Tom Boonen has entered his second year as a rally driver in 2024.

AMBITIOUS FOR THE BRC

"I've already gained a lot of experience in 2023," says Tom Boonen. "A podium finish in the BRC would be great, but it's not a goal in itself. I want to approach each stage with the right focus and be fast. If we can do that, keep the car on the track and avoid setbacks, a lot of things are possible... in any case, towards the top 5. But common sense must always prevail. The most important thing is to finish every race".

INTRODUCTION OF THE CAR AT TECH360

Boonen & co's Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 was presented at the TECH360 training centre in Zonhoven on 15 February. At this centre, usually all-purpose garages prepare for the future thanks to a comprehensive technical support system. In addition to training in TECH360 with the right tools, flexible warranty conditions and good marketing support, technical assistance is also available by phone or on site. This way, every garage stays on top of its game.
